Here is a list of things I came up with off the top of my head:
1. Even if you're 9 months pregnant, don't expect a seat on the subway.
2. People swear at bus drivers A LOT (because THEY can control traffic and idiot drivers)
3. SOME bus drivers are insane drivers.
4. People Push - WAY TOO MUCH.
5. You're not the ONLY one with that idea.
6. North, South, East & West Matters!!!
7. When giving directions, be sure to include if your building is on the north/south/east/west side of the street, because you know they're going to ask anyways.
8. Some bars never close.
9. Drinking is a hobby, not a habit.
10. Blaring your car stereo pumped up with tons of base IS OK - w hen a child is sitting in the back seat.
11. People actually believe that others WANT to hear what you are listening to on your MP3 player (sarcasm)
12. There can never be too many convenience stores on one block.
13. There can never be enough Asian restaurants....EVER.

i don't know if i'd like toronto... north, south, east and west?? our streets are all numbered in langtown... none of this name business. i hate streets with names it just makes me feel disgruntled. there is a section in vancouver that is all named after provinces and i always wait to see saskatchewan but i don't think there is one because then suddenly it's all streets named after trees. fir, hemlock, maple, arbutus... seriously does my head in. i personally like knowing that if i live on 212th that the next street will be 213th.. i like numbers dammit!
what happened to number 14?!
Well here the way the streets work is if you are east of yonge the numbers start at one, and west of yonge street they start at one. So if you tell someone you live at 50 Bloor Street...it could mean 50 bloor street east, or 50 bloor street west...ya see? But what I was actually refering to is people want to know what side of the street you are on so they dont have to look themselves. Whatever happened to figuring it out by the 'odd or even' thing. Lazy?
I SEEEEEEE YOU NOW!
