My Finest Hour!

Ok, so I had planned to start and finish "my finest hour about a year ago"
Basically it was to feature all of my super good friends, in their "finest hour"
Well, obviously I failed miserably since, I think, I only featured one friend, Amanda.

Let me say, I mean "Finest Hour" sarcastically. So I will continue, to embarass my friends, a year later.

Let me present Haley, in HER "My Finest Hour."

Let's clear the record here, I LOVE HALEY! She has been my bff since hmm, I was about 16 years old. Sheesh, Haley, that's a super long time! She is sweet, funny as hell, the best listener, GORGEOUS AS FUCK, creative, and just a ton of wicked.
Here she is.

I have added a feature, a song that makes me think of them, and although there are quite a few that I could present at this time, I won't cause it's a little tough for me. So after really thinking about it, I came up with this song...

I remember our conversation, over 6 years ago, you told me you could never listen to this song again, cause it made you cry, so hard....and I've never been able to listen to this song again, without crying so hard, for you.



After all these years, and at another concert, in Toronto, spring 2008. I cried again, so hard for you.

My finest hour!

So I've decided to do some posts featuring each one of my friends in what I call, "My finest hour"
It will feature a bunch of my friends lookin' their best! In the coming days and weeks you can expect to see some lovely ladies like, Amanda, Erinne, Haley and Kate, let's not forget about Sara, Steph, Mayssan, Alisa, Christie, Leigha, and how about those gruesome guys, I will feature some shady characters, such as Rob, Jay, Dave, Luc and Adam. But the finest hour finale will be, none other than Nick - the boyfriend! :)

I got the following picture message yesterday while I was on a walk downtown.

Kate is hilarious. We basically have the same type of personality! The difference? She's a mom AND she's in the military, didn't see that coming : )

So today we were chatting about how it's funny that she's in the military (Image Tech.) and just some silly thing about being in the military such as marching and saluting. Lame!!! This is what she had to say about saluting:

"Saluting? hate it! If I am in a parking lot I always try to fill my arms with something so I don't have to salute"

I laughed forever, I could totally see her doing that!

It really IS the little things!

When I went to New Brunswick, during the summer of 2004, Haley and I went to the Farmers Market in Fredericton. We were stopped at a table of handmade jewelry and I saw these really pretty necklaces. They are made of ceramic, in different shapes with a small dash of colour and a glossy finish to make it so smooth on the front!
We continued on to other tables then Haley ran away for a second, saying I'll be right back! When she came back she presented me with a tiny bag and inside was one of the necklaces I was looking at. What a doll! Today I am wearing that necklace, and I will be thinking of her every time I rub the smooth indent on the front!
