Home Sweet Home

Here are a few shots of Calgary I have taken over the past couple of months. They were taken with my cell phone so they aren't very good. I have a bunch of pictures on Nick's camera, I will post them soon.

This is my kitchen, the day I arrived in Calgary.

This is Gibby, passed out on my suitcases. We had just gotten home after a very long drive to Toronto, and flight to Calgary. She wasn't drooling anymore at this point. Sheesh!

These are some magpies. I've never seen one before, but they are everywhere here!

This is a cool park downtown, it's massive, and has all these cool staircases and water and rocks, you have to walk across the rocks to get to the other set of stairs. How cool is that!

This is a view of part of the downtown core, taken from the other side of the river. So nice!

Mazzy is fuxin your perception!

Downtown at night, from across the river.

This is the view from my office window, if you look really hard you can see the mountains. It's much clearer in real life, my camera doesn't zoom very well.

What did YOU do this weekend?

I went to the Bigfoot Monster Truck World Finals today at the Stampede grounds.
COOL!

What's wrong with this sign?

Why?

Bah Bah! This is the sound of settling!

I just don't know what to say about this woman. The sounds she makes is just hysterical!

I know you has Diabeetus!

Oh ya, Nick and I almost peed ourselves from laughing so hard at this one a few weeks ago!

Ahhhk!

Soon my friends, soon.
But for now, enjoy this sweet little quote.

"It's like what Iceland handball captain Olafur Stefansson told me when I asked whether people in his country actually believe in magic elves. ‘It's not so much a matter of believing in the regular sense of the word, it's more of enjoying the possibility of it actually existing,’ he said. ‘And it doesn't matter whether somebody judges you or not for having that possibility in your mind. Because it's a funny possibility, and it enlightens your life and makes it more colorful.’”
